On November 12th 2018 E.T.A. was contacted by Amador County Animal Control and invited to help collect Large Animal supply donations for Amador County Animal Control.
E.T.A. went to work spreading the word via Facebook to our local community of what types of supplies were needed and asking that, if possible, the community could bring the items to Laughton Ranch to load into our trailer for delivery to Camp Fire evacuees at Animal Control’s discretion.
Our wonderful Amador County community sprang into action and our trailer started filling quickly!
Special thanks to Ione Feed and Ranch Supply for not only bringing their own large load of donations to Laughton Ranch, but also helping our community donate more by offering discounts on donation purchases.
We will be loading a second trailer and delivering it at a later date. Our goal for that load of supplies will be geared towards helping people bring their animals out of evac and into a more long term set-up (fencing materials, waterers, feeders, etc.) keep your eye on our ETA Facebook Page to stay up to date on our Camp Fire donations.
