On September 25th, 2018 ETA was deployed to assist with the overturned cattle trailer on Highway 88 in Pioneer.
ETA quickly rallied multiple teams with stock trailers loaded with panels, rescue slide and/or cowhorses in order to be prepared for a number of possible scenarios.
The many FEMA trainings and certifications for Livestock in Disasters and Incident Command were put to use soon after arriving on scene.
First Responders did a fantastic job freeing the cattle.
According to the official CHP report 51 head of cattle were saved.
ETA is glad that we could be of service to our wonderful community!
