Who Are We?
E.T.A. is comprised of many of the original volunteers at Laughton Ranch during the Butte Fire in 2015.
In 2018 E.T.A. was formed to fill an urgent need within Amador County.
We work with emergency services to educate the public about disaster preparedness, and assist in evacuating and sheltering in place of animals during a disaster.
We are Trained, Certified and Insured.
Wildfire Certs
E.T.A. members are required to obtain Wildland Fire Certifications.
FEMA Certified
We ask our members to be certified in a number of FEMA courses.
Traffic Trained
Traffic Incident Management Certified.
We're focused on our amazing community
E.T.A. works in conjunction with Amador Animal Control, Amador Search & Rescue, Cal Fire, California Highway Patrol, Amador Fire Protection District, Amador County Sheriff, Jackson Police, Ione Police, Sutter Creek Police, Tri-County Wildlife and ACART.
We assist other agencies both in Amador and the surrounding counties.
